When I first moved to Colorado almost two years ago I only knew a couple people and was on my own quite a bit. One thing I enjoy doing that’s a solitary act is finding and walking labyrinths, so one day I did a search to see if could find any nearby.
Alas, there was a labyrinth less the four blocks away! And it was beautiful, as you can see from the photo. It follows the same pattern as its famous sister at Chartres Cathedral, and is a calming, centering experience to travel. The church grounds where it’s located look out over the foothills, and often a cool breeze blows as you traverse the sacred landscape.
Neighborhood gems! They’re everywhere if you look for them.
